I am Cadet Michael Pastore. I joined CAP when I was 14, when I was really indecisive on what I wanted to do. My Grandfather was in the Air Force so I looked up on the best ways to get into the AF Academy for the thrill of it. After some research, I found a link on Civil Air Patrol so I called up the local squadron and walked into a presentation on Rocket Science and the history of Rocketry. I fell in love with CAP right away and I have now been in for a year and a half and I still love the program. I never thought I would be able to experience so much as I have already and I'm excited for my future in CAP. I have learned so many valuable lessons on leadership skills and other important life lessons that are simply NOT taught in school. CAP helped guide me into the Aviation Industry which I know have a real passion to become a pilot for the military. Now, I'm trying to give back a little bit to the squadron and any donations are greatly appreciated. Thank you for all the support!
